The NFL season is over..

Congratulations the Packers!
Although I haven't been able to watch every game,I still love NFL. Before the post season started,I was sure that the Patriots got a Lombardi trophy and Tom Brady was going to be a MVP player...

This is a Japanese magazine of NFL.

Arron Rodgers.

Congratulations Green Bay!

Valentine's project 1

The Valentine's day in Japan used to be a kind of special day for girls who want to declare one's love with chocolate to the boy.But it's been changing.Girls buy chocolate not only for a special guy but for friends,co-workers,family members, etc.

Here're some of my cafe's Valentine's rubber stamping projects.

It's rare to find it (specially, orange one)at local area. I bought these at "Ame-yoko" in Ueno,Tokyo,a popular shopping center among both of tourists and local in Tokyo.

A morning ritual.

The first thing to do every morning is brewing coffee not only have a cup of coffee but practice to brew coffee myself. I enjoy this moment to smell of griding coffee beans,to watch swelling coffee when the hot water is poured into the dripper which is proved that the coffee is very fresh.

A day off.

It was Wednesday and the cafe was closed. I visited Utsunomiya city, capital of Tochigi pref. by train.
There is a famos Shinto shrine "Futarasan Jinjya." I visit there everytime I go the city. It's very calm,quiet,peaceful...

It is a gateway to the srine.

You have to go up the stairs which is kind of awful...

You walk to the building inside of the gate and stand in front of there and pray. Usually, coins are thrown into an offertry box.

The beautiful sky.

Finally..

It's snow. Finally.

It's late to start snowing here this year. Although I don't like cold weather,I was already for snow because it's fun to see snowing. It's beautiful..

I had a company from South-Korea. There were three cute girls. They asked my husband what does it mean "Suda(our last name)" in Japanese. They told us that Suda means "chat" in Korea. They thought this was chat place then stopped by.

Winter Flowers

Eventhough it's not very pleasant season,I found pleasure. It's gardening. The color of flowers in winter are very qute! There are my flower pots of this winter.

I'm crazy about an ornamental cabbage(second row, left and right) now. I put linen cloth on Japanese like basket which my parents sent me with orchid as a gift when the cafe was open. Now,the orchid is gone.. then I reuse this basket.
--from left,clockwise--ornamental cabbage(purple),mondo grass(black),stock(pink),mondo grass, ornamental cabbage (cream yellow and pink) primula juliana(strawberry pink) --center--dusty miller.

These are cyclamens ans wire plants. I love these Bordeaux wine color(flower) and silver leaves!

Ops,this is not very good..

It's first time to make hanging basket. I hope it's going to be better when they glow few weeks later..

Finally, these are violas in the can. Behind of viola is muscari(bulb.)
